6th & 7th Grades:
DATE: Wednesday, January 7, 2026
LOCATION: Great Hollow MS, 150 Southern Blvd, Nesconset
TIME: 7:00 - 8:45 pm
Check in starts at 6:45 pm - Please do NOT arrive early
8th Grade:
DATE: Thursday, January 8, 2026
LOCATION: Great Hollow MS, 150 Southern Blvd, Nesconset
TIME: 7:00 - 8:45 pm

6th through 8th Grades:
DATE: Saturday, January 10, 2026
LOCATION: All Sportz, 100 Ruland Rd, Melville
TIME: 6-7th Grade: 10 am - 12 pm, Check in starts at 9:45 am
8th Grade: 12 - 2 pm, Check in starts at 11:45 am
Please try to attend both tryouts for your age group.
COST: $50 (non-refundable)

Any athlete who is interested in trying out must pre-register HERE.
Keep in mind that once you are offered and accept a position on a team, you will be required to purchase a membership with the Garden Empire Volleyball Association (GEVA), a division of USA Volleyball ($80 for the season). You will also need to review and agree to the player/parent agreement and sign a medical release form (details to follow).
The anticipated commitment:
- 2 practices per week for all teams
- Travel Teams (U14): 2-3 overnight and 2-3 Regional (NY/NJ/CT) tournaments
- Regional Teams (U14 and U13 & under): 1 overnight and 2-4 Regional tournaments
Note: Tournament schedules are tentative and are subject to change based on availability.
